Hi, so i answered a craigslist posting for a receptionist opening in Tacoma, Wa. I immediately set up a interview for the next day, which was a Tuesday. While in the interview I asked what the job required. Being 20 years old, I am very versed in businesses tricking people into sales and my interviewer promptly said there were no sales involved. The open positions were for managers or receptionists and i qualified for both. Also, that the training would be about 6 weeks and we would we compensated. Well that next friday was the 2nd interview were i was told for the second time that we would not be tricked into sales". That following monday was orientation and tuesday was the 1st day of training/. During those days i asked employees/ trainers how exactly we would be compensated for training and each time i was told that it depended on participation and attendance, but was never given a clear answer?. Wednesday, 2nd day of training, I was finally told at the end of the training day that our compensation depended on our sales and that we were to sale 20 bottles each time we moved up in training, until you open your own branch and hire sales reps yourself?. You are promised 40k and a branch with a partner of your choice?. I was tricked and wasted my time?. If you do not want to do sales, do not apply for any position in this company.. They seem like a good company but the truth is, to get anywhere in that business, you have to sale their product, which are knock offs of well known perfumes.. You are warned. 128b2d1

Thank Goodness I did my homework...the name of the company is different, but they are involved with Andrew...whatshisname...some ole scam...and it will continue, with different company names...too bad that people have to make money, scamming the less fortunate...but KARMA will get them...what goes around, comes around! Some Day! If I want s***ty, crap perfume, I'll buy it at the Dollar Store., not someone in a parking lot...and yes I have been approached in the Top Foods parking lot, with the perfume sellers. As for all the comments from the people who feel that they are gonna get somewhere with this company....may you rot in H**l someday.

i too found a job posting on craigslist for manager position of a 40k salry. and wihout so much as a hello and where i went to school i was hired just like that for the position. that was my first clue that something didnt seem right with this company. for a position such as a manager and a pretty good salary you would think the interview process would be more professional and takem seriously. tons of people were hired for this same position. people were pajamas to training and people hired joked around and acted like kids as well as the ones training us. that was my second clue. this isnt supoosed to be how a "real" job is done once hired. and normally you have to feel to fill out paper work once hired , since the job is salary.but no paper was done to even show i worked/was hired there as a manager with a 40k salary. that was my third clue.it just went downhill from there.these people scam u in to thinking u will be a manager for them. they make you go through training , keep in mind u arent paid thr salary u were promised, instead u have to sell there knock off perfume for them to movw up in training. and u dont even make half the amount u have to sell the perfume bottles. u also have to sell a lot for these girls running it. in the end u may not even be a manager.kierrsa promises all this stuff but its all lies. anyways i could go on about all the lies i was told but this is enough for now. dont work or buy for this company. spread thw word

This same company is now in Tempe, Arizona under the guise of WPTI aka Wholesale Perfume Traders Incorporated. I'm embarrassed that I even went to the 2nd interview. It's obvious that you aren't paid hourly, complete commission, and you must sell perfume to see a dime. I don't know if I would call that a scam persay, because they tell you that upfront. They just are extra friendly and phrase it in a way that gives those without a job a sense of hope. It's like a company gives you bottles of perfume, you must peddle it to see a profit. It's not a scam, but it isn't what you think it is. You will only make money if you sell the perfume, end of story. How they go about selling the perfume, I wouldn't know because I didn't stick around to find out. If anything sounds too good to be true and/or you can't find the company online with ease, I'd walk away. Please, do yourself a favor and walk away.

I unfortunately worked for this company for way too long. Thankfully, I wised up and quit going in. It is such a scam! The owner takes money for perfume that you sell and she only gives you half of it at best, and then it is not the ones that you order, it is whatever she has on hand. Don't go in! SCAM, SCAM!

I was there in Jan. the "managers" there were telling us they were on the way out to open their own branch. Here it is 4mo later and they still are there with no branch. Christina, Michelle, Devito, Dee, they all will mislead you to believe something will really come out of this training but yet they are all still there saying how great this company is. IF ITS SO GREAT WHERE IS YOUR BRANCH??? They allow anyone to participate in this scam. You sell their perfume then realize you wont get your own branch you leave but you have already given then X amount of $. They get rich off of you while you're left with nothing.

Also it was just on KOMO NEWS 4 about their brother company as a fraud. Same concept & paper work.

I attended this "training" for two weeks which I found very childish and meaningless. They want you to yell and make a fool of yourself and that's what they call participation. They do NOT pay you compensation you have to sell their KNOCK OFF perfume which they don't want you to tell customers. There were some people who had been there for 11 weeks plus. They had not moved forward because they had not sold $3200 worth of perfume. They are very nice people but it's time consuming and in the end a SCAM!!!!

you know what the best part of this whole thing was when I asked the guy that was teaching the class if what he just said was that we were selling perfume to move up in a position was true.. and he turned pale starting sweating and then had this blank look and was stutter to come out with the right answer, but yet still couldn't even give me a straight answer... that was it for me... I couldn't stop laughing because he got caught in a lie for this company and he couldn't even go through with bucking up and giving an answer!! there is something wrong with that!

you two below me are just a bunch of brainwashed looneys!! I am sorry but once again this company is fake if you want to go and sell cheap perfume that you can just as easily go and buy at walmart and or the 1 dollar store then go right ahead... by the way there is no other branch with this *** company but the one in TACOMA... IF YOU GO IN FOR TRAINING ASK THEM AND THEY WILL TELL YOU THERE ISN'T ANY OPENED YET BUT WE WILL BE GIVING YOU ONE ... YEAH RIGHT!!!
